I never see anyone at my local Burger King restaurant preparing my food with gloves. They're always bare-handed.
Isn't this against state health regulations?

No, burger king workers sanitize their hands every 15 mins or if they touch something out of their working area.

Florida has no specific regulation requiring glove use. However, it is s prudent thing to do for the customers perception. Wendys requires anyone handling or preparing food to wear gloves. Hand washing is also strongly encouraged for various reasons. Go into a Wendys and you should at minimum see the sandwich maker wearing gloves even though it is not required by state law. It is Wendy's policy.

Although it's frowned upon for a fast food restaurant to not make their employees wear gloves, it's not actually a legal requirement. The only thing that may put your mind at rest, is that there are plenty of health and safety regualtions to do with hand washing, and each employee is told to wash their hands hourly, or after every task! Hope this helped :)

Yes they must wear gloves and was their hands before putting them on. They should also be wearing hair restraints. I have that both of these are hardly ever done in most fast food joints

It's not law, but it would be more sanitary. They are required to wash hands every 20 minutes or so & if they handle something else that isn't cooked food, they must wash and sanitize.
