two possible explanations
1-you just happen to have really good eyesight and can detect silver objects well
2-there is a hole in someone's change purse
Because when dimes are dropped, because they are so small and worth little value, they are walked past not like quarters or halfdollars

I find a lot of dimes also. I think it is because they are so small and make little noise when dropped. Easily slip through the fingers.
