When I first read your question , I read Mate instead of meal and I was pondering on what courses would make my husband perfect, but after 41 years, I guess I must be happy with the rough edges anyway LOL ! forgot to mention ,I only have vision in one eye hence the quick misread.
Now ,for the perfect meal, it makes answering a little easier.
vegetable salad with poppy seed dressing
NY striploin steak on the BBQ with baked potato /sour cream and grilled fresh asparagus
warm strawberry and rhubarb pie with vanilla ice-cream

It's in the wrong category, but never mind, here's my perfect dinner:- A dozen oysters on the half shell and a tureen of turtle soup. As entrees I'll have the filet of English sole followed by pheasant under glass, plus an a la carte order of asparagus tips. For dessert, they may just bring the cart. Enjoy...!

Florida lobster tail (not Maine, too mushy) in butter and garlic with a sprinkle of Parmesan / Romano cheese on top. Put a few chunks of pineapple around tail. Ribeye , rare (so a good vet.could bring it back to life). Wilted Romaine lettuce soaked in a red wine vinegar, onions, mushrooms, bacon (fresh cooked so it's a little hot ,and dump the oil on top of salad) ,add sourdough croutons and a sliver of lemon wedge.
