well I guess bc there are more candidates for Miss America bc they dont have cameras on their home and family 24 hrs a day

The elections don't start with just 2 people or have you been missing the meaning of the primaries. We narrow down to 2 people, granted miss america narrows down to about 5 in the end ... would you prefer 50 candidates and only the time it takes to vote for miss america ... that would certainly cut the cost of running down and no more political commercials for months on end.
Maybe it could be good to run it like the pageants!
