first of all you should hold a wet rag on it until the sticker itself is moist. this could take a second but it works. wipe off what you can then use goo gone and wipe it and windex it. it should be good as new.

There is a product you can get at Kmart, Lowes, home depot, etc. called Goo Be Gone. It is a petrolem based product and when applied to stickers, it soaks through them and loosens the glue. I always have some on hand. Try it.

A paper napkin with a squirt of WD-40. Hold it on the sticker for a minute or so and then rub it off. Then wash the area with soap and water and dry it off.

Goo gone works really well. Also, you could try soaking the residue with rubbing alcohol. It should rub right off after you do that.
