My boss sent me an email telling me we get the whole day Christmas eve off. We usually work half a day on Dec. 24th.
What good news have you received last?

We got the news yesterday that my dear partner, who has been having a multitude of medical tests, is "in the clear" and doesn't have anything sinister going on inside. So that is cause for great happiness around here !

Good for you, having Christmas Eve off - its a nice day to be home when you have a family.

That my grandaughter & her husband are expecting their first baby. That will give me 11 grandchildren and 3 greats! It's times like this that I'm so glad that I started young myself. Thank goodness none of my children or grandchildren did the same.
How is your son feeling now? You know people always feel worse at night. I really didn't know this until I became a nurse.
I hope he's all tucked in and sleeping real good. Yea for all of you with good news! Isn't life grand?

I received a phone call today from a friend I had lost track of. But she did some detective work and found me through Reunion.com - I was thrilled and we had a wonderfully long chat! Sooo good to hear from her again after 2 years. I have known her since I was 20. That's 46 years!!!!!! CJ

My grandaughter gave her first public performance(a monologue) on Saturday at her school for performing arts and she was awsome( she really was!) Her guidance teacher has a daughter attending the same arts group and told all the staff at her middle school what a great performance she did. My grandaughter came home on cloud nine.
