oh I agree! The sense of entitlement. Really it's frightening because the majority of a generation is failing to learn how to work for what they want. What is going to happen when they get out on their own?

I agree their sense of entitlement. They act like they deserve more and of course for doing less. I work with alot of new people fresh out of college - they have no experience and this is their first job and insist that they are way under paid - they don't even fully understand their job and don't do as well as they could - take days off like no body's business and critisize the older more experience people. They go as far as claiming that the older people are lazy and have no ambition because we are still there. The joke is on them = with our degree theres not much more they can do. Jobs are limited. I hope my kids dont end up like those rookies who think they know it all and worth a million bucks = hello come on down to reality and see the world for what it is.

another one to add to the list is their poor communication skills, which appear to be heavily influenced by the "sound bite"
they can't summarize or tell you something that happened or relate a conversation, they have to "reenact" it with heavy doses of the word "like"
and when they say something such as:
"i was like..."
you don't know if they said what they're now relaying to you or if it was just something they were thinking at the time or it's just an embellishment that fails to improve a still boring, uninteresting few minutes of their life

Spoiled kids and parents who put there kids in beauty pagents. I think they are just asking for perverts to be looking at there kids. Ugh those things should be outlawed and theres no way in heck that I'm letting my child do that.
Thats about it. It's kind of a rant.

This stupid emo thing. Kids are SO bright and creative and they are looking at a world wide open for them, and instead of choosing healthy rebellion, they choose to go around 'pretending' to be depressed and not interacting with the world. I feel bad for them that they don't realize what they have.

Lack of respect for sure.
When I was a kid and a grown up would yell at me or even hit me, my parents would yell at me or hit me because I upset the other grown up.
Now kids can do whatever they want and nobody cares.
And what's with the writing and typing?
I would love to see some of these kids write a resume with their spelling!

Kids don't listen to what they are told and do the opposite to get on their parent's nerve and upset them on purpose. Very annoying right??

the way kids behave is a reflection on the way thier parents behave, it's not hard to have a decent respectful child... but unfortunately in todays society kids get just about whatever they want... truely sad...

I agree with Todd. They have no respect for their elders and talk back way too much and they think they know everything. I wish I had a kid so I could beat the shhh out of them for talking back.
