unification of Germany and Italy shifts the powers in Europe especially in favor of Germany .Germany was clearly becomes most powerful economically,militarilly and politically . Italy was also become one of the greatest power in Europe

Their only connection was a military alliance in the 1930s and 40s in which the dominant partner was Germany.
The outcome was destruction and occupation for both

Deeper ties, united military front, and a free market. Originally it was a great idea, BEFORE the holocaust. The holocaust and Hitler's racism ruined everything. It could have turned into world peace if they played their cards right, but developed into idiocrisy
