Easy to remember. The time it take for 1/2 of the parent to decay is called, simply, the half life.

Radioactive decay gives off heat so it is exothermic.

it is called the half-life, and it gives off radiation which can be in alpha particles, beta particles, or gamma rays. each of these makes the isotope decay in a different way.
