If you were the child and nobody acknowledge you, how would you feel? You might hate the people surrounding you and you will say it is not your fault and do not wish to be born illigetimate. Well, that goes the same to the illegitimate child you are talking about. Everybody makes mistakes. Nobody is perfect. Even illegitimate, the child is still human being with feelings. He is illegitimate because of the mistakes the parents made but why must he becomes the victim of the parents' mistake.

yes, especially if the child was born of both parents. Just because they didn't get married until after the child was born, doesn't mean that the child was at fault. You have no say in the matter, or judgment. If you love your parents, you love what they love. period. Besides, you could have been that child!!!! There is enough love for you, too, cause that's what parents do, they love all of their children and any children they choose to adopt or take in.

do ypo mean your mother and father were not married, or someone had an affair ? Being real about the situation, no matter which it is , that person had no part of being conceived, or brought into this world, .little baby or 60 years old, that person has the same feelings as you or i. you do nave the same blood running through your veins. This person may become the most specail if you give it a chance and get to know them as your sibling. do they know about your being . they could be having thoughts of their own and dont know how to approach you. think about it .the world needs more sharing ,caring and love wish you the best

As what? As a sibling? Of course. The child did nothing wrong whatsoever. Family is much more than the product of a legal contract.

Would you acknowledge anybody? What kind of stuck up jerk are you?
You think that just because someone's parents had issues that they are less of a person? That's pretty lame.
They had no say in their birth circumstances. You DO have a say in what kind of person you are.

Yes, what's the problem? I'm old enough to acknowledge that my parents might have had sex outside their marriage, and it has nothing to do with me.

No. I'd rather die than to see someone whom I hate (If I see the child, I'll think of his fking mum/dad) living under the same roof as I am. I don't want more vengeance/hatred to grow. I'd rather he/she live alone with their other parent.

sure, why not. everyone deserves acknowledgement as a human being. i don't see how withholding acknowledgement would help anyone. acknowledge the truth of the past.

~yeah, its not the kids fault. if u didnt, then that would be a serious character flaw within yourself. dont hold something against someone else, that has no control of the situation!
