I think the Oprah/Obama thing is a big hack job. I'm not impressed. If anything I'm a little peeved about it all.

Oprah's talk show is built around her,..she is the show and it is all about what she see and feels in the world around her. She has a very knowledgeable staff to see that every angle of a story is investigated and aired to it's best effect in presenting it. So, her platform in promoting Mr. Obama, is an extension of her beliefs in who is best to run this country and just that. However, it is her opinion and like everything that shows up on her show her opinion is shared quite readily and nothing will stop that as long as America loves and watches her and her show.

Oprah is now much more than a talk show host. She has influence over hundreds of thousands of viewers. I think at this point in her life, she believes her support of the person she believes to be the best candidate is more important than TV ratings. Good for her.

Nope. She is still an American citizen with freedom to vote for whomever she wants. it would hurt the same if she teamed up with Hillary. Why isn't the question "Do you think that it would help Oprah if she joins up with Obama?"

No, she has too many loyal viewers. What she could hurt is Obama! Theres tons of people that are annoyed by Oprah and think she has no business up there with him.

No, Oprah is at the point in her life where she answers to no one, but herself. So, even if her ratings went down, she wouldn't care and would stand behind her convictions and beliefs about Barack.

Oh please, this is laughable. Oprah doesn't a need a talk show or any other show. She is filthy rich. She could join up with George Bush and still be OK.

Depends , if she stays with the man if or when he is selected as a democrat nominee for President then yes because that is when the mud will start flying and she can be caught in the negative { attack } ads .

Although I plan to vote for another candidate, I think Oprah chose a very likeable and "clean" candidate to endorse. She is at a point in her career where it doesn't seem so odd for her to use her influence. If she isn't going to endorse my candidate, she may as well endorse Obama!

No, the mindless masses will keep tuning in with their mouths hanging open and drool dripping from their chins.
