You can say what you like. Just don't expect everyone to agree with you.

It is a two way street and isn't all about you. And what is the crap that America isn't the way it used to be? We never insulted other people the way we do now with profanity and outright racism before the 1990's unless you were members of the KKK. Things have changed and people say the rudist, nastiest, and most ignorant things and when it isn't accepted, they scream their freedom of rights are being taken away. It seems common sense and reasoning have been left behind. One example, Santa Claus saying Ho Ho Ho no longer being acceptable.

Freedom of speech goes both ways. That's why you can voice your opinions and others can voice theirs even if it opposes your views. It's a freedom that allows more than one opinion or thought to be heard so everyone has their say. It's annoying sometimes when others are clearly being prejudice but that's democracy for you.

In today's society we have what we think and then we have what's PC, or Politically Correct.

If you say what you believe in a negative and disrespectful manner, then you have the right to say it, yet people who are offended also have the right to criticize it. If you say the same thing only more politely or PC, less people will be offended, thus less people will criticize it.

Nothing has happened to your freedom of speech--that's the reason you can state what you think in the first place. But, criticizing is just other people exercising their right: to say what they think of your statement, whether it's complimentary or not.

Freedom of speech works both ways. Express an opinion and expect a reaction, which isn't always the one you would like to expect.

it depends what you say you do have freedom of speech but you're not actually FREE to say anything. For instance, if you're at school and you decide to exercise your freedom of speech right, do you think it's right to falsely scream fire to create a scare, stop school work, call the fire department for no reason? Freedom of speech isn't it? well you can't always be "free".

Bro, you can get criticized..BECAUSE of freedom of speech. Thats how it is...people are free to criticize you.

And it's not like it matters anyways. The government today man, can just take your rights away if theyd REALYY like to..its about getting generous people in the government.

Along with freedom of speech comes something else called freedom of rebutal or disagreement. You can express your freedom of speech but others are also allowed the right to disagree.

You have to choose your words very very carefully or they may / will be taken out of context and you could wind up in court or worse. If you were just criticized you would be getting off lightly.

Mums the word.☺♥☻

they criticize because they, too, have the right to freedom of speech. They're not violating your rights lmao please know what you're talking about first. Let them criticize. Who cares?
btw if you're in school or any other public building those rights may be taken away as long as you're in that building
