Do you believe in ghosts?

Question

A lot of people, at some point in their life experience some kind of supernatural encounter. Tell you stories if you have, or tell me why you don't believe in ghosts.

Yeah, I do believe in them. I had some sort of encounter with I guess what you would call a poltergeist.

I do agree, though, that there is a lot of fakes out there claiming that they can talk/see ghosts.

i believe in spirits more than "ghosts". ghosts [in my opinion] sound like something on scooby-doo, ya know, where the ghost is haunting someone and/or someplace. i think spirits are loved [or unloved] ones, that have passed on. kind of like an angel watching over you. in my past, i was about 10...i was playing with a water bottle, and the cap got lodged in my throat. i couldnt breathe. all i saw was a dark place, then a yellow-whitish glow...then i saw my grandma [who had died about 7 years before]. and i heard her say, "go back, it's not your time". then all of the sudden i felt my hand go down my throat, then the next thing i knew, i was sitting in a chair, heavely breathing, with the bottle cap in my hand.

Yes i believe in ghost spirits or demons or what ever you wish to call them they are really out there some bad and some good

used to visit a friend when i was a kid that lived by the salt fork river in Oklahoma many many years before military and Indians and cowboys i guess fought there from bank to bank and at times we could hear them fighting at night and gun fire and all kinds of stuff 1 time something came into the house and walked through the house and went into a closed locked door very scary when you are a child but it did happen

I don't want to believe in ghosts, but I've had enough odd things happen around me that I am not sure.

FWIW, I once lived in a house that was reputed to be haunted. We had lots of mysterious door openings, footsteps in the night, and locks being opened with no explanation. I can't say there are ghosts, but I won't say there are no ghosts.

I now live in an old house and we often hear footsteps and creaks that have no logical explanation.

I'm really not in the mood for storytelling, but I must admit, that yes, ghost, pulterguists (sp?), apparations and such all exist, factual, and therefore cannot be confused with simply being a belief. But apparently science cannot explain everything, so the unknown is considered mythological or questionable at best. Oh me. Is there hope for skin-less brotheren?

I was working at a bakery manufacturer. It was repetitive work however I had a lot of things on my mind all the time but once I glanced to the isle next to me and saw an old lady and a boy - nothing creepy - just standing there. Only for like two seconds when I realized at what I had seen I looked again and harder and ofcourse they weren't there.

Yes! I believe the house we are living in right now is haunted! I catch things out of the corner of my eye sometimes! Once when I was in the basement doing laundry, this shadow went right past me down the hallway! At night we see someone standing in the doorway looking in at us! It really doesn't bother me though! We've been here for 4 years & have never been hurt by anything.....YET!!! LOL

Yes,I do believe in ghosts. My husband and I lived in a house that was haunted,and we heard what sounded like people walking up and down the stairs,and nobody was there but us. We also heard people knocking at our door and nobody was there,and needless to say,we quickly moved out of there!

My friends dad died from a heart attack and we could feel him around. He turned off lights and made the car radio fuzzy. But the most disturbing thing was one night we went to the graveyard to visit him and it was dark out... we almost ran over a black cat crossing the street and when we got back to her house I took off my jacket and I was wearing a white shirt underneath and I had blood on the back of my white shirt... but none on my jacket and none on my skin... not even a scrape or a scab or anything! I couldn't sleep and waited for the sun to come up before going to bed. That was 9 years ago and still gives me goosebumps!!

No but Yes. I believe that there are ghosts in presence but only special people can see them. So I guess I do but we just cant see them
