it is a word we hear every where, we know that it is a good thing, and we know that it does not exist in many places all over the world. Even though many people know that our world is truly in need of peace, they still, however, choose not to take action, and strive, to help make a peaceful world we all dream of living in. As you know, Prime Minister Harper, there are many devastating wars and conflicts, taking place all over the world, mainly in developing, and impoverished nations in the middle east.

Prime Minister Harper, I strongly feel that you can really help to promote, and create peace in our hostile, cold world. By sending at least 3% of Canada’s GNP to countries around the world who truly need it, you are giving so many people a chance at improving their currently devastating lives, and therefore creating a more solid chance of long term peace in our world. Not only will countries in war situations benefit from long term peace, however, Canada will also benefit from long term peace, because it saves us money on conflicts , enhances

trade, and improves our reputation in the world. As you can see, Prime Minister Harper, your money will go a very long way, and help to promote something our world has been waiting for, for a long time; Peace. The money and aid that you, along with the Canadian Government send to poverty-stricken nations in need, will potentially, help stop future wars, wars that take with them, countless lives. In third-world nations, civil wars are very common, these civil wars are so horrendous and cruel, that just hearing about them gives me chills. In these horrible civil wars, children as young as four years old, are forced to fight as soldiers. These

young children are forced to kill their family and friends. Could you imagine how terrifying that would be? These terrible wars don’t have to go on forever, with the money, and aid, you, Prime Minister Harper, send on behalf of Canada, to countries in need, I believe that you will truly help to promote long term peace that will stop cruel things like this from happening. Peace is such an important thing in our world, and is essential

for humanity. I can only imagine how incredible it must feel to know that you can promote such peace in our world, as I strongly feel that you Prime Minister Harper, Can be the one that helps to bring back the much-needed peace back into our world.
