I just checked the kctv5 web site and it looks like that shawnee mission has the day off due to the bad weather hitting us. Go to www.kctv5.com and click on weather then click on school closings. look for Shawnee Mission USD512 that is the shawnee mission's district

Your Lucky! USD 500 hasn't showed up on the School Closings but i bet it will because it will get worse tonight and tommorow...The roads already look bad....So since u have no school tommorow what r u going to do?

Yeah, Shawnee Mission is out! So are Olathe and Blue Valley. (when one has a snow day the other two do also) So have fun on your day off!!

Congrats to all the kids who got the day off. I don't think they'll do it two days in a row though, so enjoy it while it lasts.
