Non-Christian here that loves my Huck ;)
I love his positive campaigning, and how he avoids horizontal politics. Left and right has made this country ineffective for too long. A refreshing face in politics.
I really like his immigration plan! Kick everyone out and build a fence, but fix the legal immigration system so some that we need can come back with their heads high and paying taxes.
I feel most people who don't support him have just caught clips and excerpts, most who has seen him articulate his points are convinced.

Mike Huckabee is not smart enough or savvy enough to be President. He is Bush II- the Arkansas cousin. It will be bad, very bad if he gets elected.
We need a candidate who knows what the hell is going on and can deal with and effectively handle the challenges we are facing. Mike Huckabee is from Arkansas but he is no Bill Clinton, he is no intellectual heavy weight and I don't want a President who consults the bible for guidance, we see where that has gotten us. Their battle plan is Armageddon.

Personally I don't care for him, he isn't a fiscal conservative.. He has a record of tax hikes (an estimated half a billion dollars) and favoring amnesty for illegal immigrants (including supporting a measure giving them drivers licenses).. he was already under investigation for ethics violations.. and his pardoning of a rapist is coming back to haunt him. In a prior debate he stated that he would enter a war with Iran without the consent of Congress and if elected he will raise taxes and sink the US into more debt..

Mike Huckabee is more conservative than America may realize. I wouldn't want to see him as US President at all. I think he'll get the nod from the GOP after the primaries. Mark my words.

I think Mike Huckabee might have alil more morals then, lets say, Rudy, but i think his record compared to what he is saying now shows how inconsistent he is. When i vote for the next president i want to know that what they are saying is actually what they'll do if elected and i cant say that about him.. thats why im voting Ron Paul! Pauls record from the last few decades shows that what he says is exactly what he'll do if elected!

I trust him as much as I trust any other candidate.
And right now I don't believe any of them.
As a conservative, I am not sure that there really is a perfect candidate.
And some are certainly worse then others.

Huckabee did nothing when meat packer companies replaced American workers with illegals in his home state!
You better believe he will do nothing when you are replaced in your job!

He's better than some but still part of the system. Anyone for the occupation is in doubt.

I don't like the way he mixes religion with his politics. Calling himself a Christian Leader is just wrong. What are non-chrisitians supposed to think?
