we have to have it protected in something, and my teacher has to be able to take it out and put it back in, and you have to be able to see the egg.

i was thinking of using bubble wrap.

if anyone has done this project before, what did you use and did it work?

Use a toilet roll cardboard cylinder and stuff it full of bubblewrap. Put the egg in the middle.

You might need to cut a few windows in the middle to see the egg.

Umm, I think I remember taping straws around it.
I don't know about your limits, but you could consider making a box lined with cotton balls to put hte egg in.
