Ha ha ha! Yes, ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!! Why? Because it's only when you're over 40 that:
1) you have advanced in your career and are beginning to reap the rewards of real and sheer hard work;
2) you have gained a certain amount of wisdom and would have the attitude "I want to learn more!"
3) your children are not babies anymore, so you would have MORE time for travel, shopping and dining with your friends.
4) you have built true confidence in yourself -- something that only time can help you on;
5) you can do whatever you want to do and go wherever you want to go. you're of legal age and you'd have the money, right?

PUT IT A BETTER WAY-"MATURITY SHOULD HIT AT 40 OR SOME OF IT".
By that time you should have some of life's problems under
your belt which will enable you to make "better decisions".
If not-oh well!
you'll keep going up the mountain until you get it right!
At 40 you should be somewhat mellow with life's experience.
and be able to tell others of your life to hopefully keep them from making some of the same mistakes -but then again-
going through your own experience is "the best teacher of all".
I GREW UP ON AN OLD SAYING.
"YOU CAN LEAD A HORSE TO WATER BUT YOU CAN'T MAKE HIM DRINK IT. And it's the same with life-you can tell someone what you went through-but in the in it's up to them
be the decision GOOD OR BAD.

It did but now that was so long ago, it was evening when we met, so dark there were no shadows...too long a story to tell, so I have put it in a poem hope you like it!
Swan Lake
Her femininity was compelling I thought as I watched witch faced Venus admiring her own features. She stood tall and luxurious, her ice-cold soul bursting with energy, a cold warm passion, void of love without tenderness or sympathy.
This she offered; a heart that was ‘not’ least of all to her lovers. She did not represent malign no more than languor or satiety she was all these things and more.
Gurda! Gurda! Gurda! I cried perfecting those black crows; though she will never know her secret name or where to find her King.
Clandestine be as it may, though even now it does not seem that I was in love with the Snow Queen.
You asked me if I had seen her. It was at sunset a dark stormy night of November, she was more beautiful than the Aurora: and tender than the Eclipse I want to hold her over and over, and kiss her sweet red lips, but I don’t care because I’ve got Pooh Bear!

Life begins at 35, slows down at 40, gets great at 50 even better at 58. I don't care that younger women are attracted to me because I remind them of their grandfather. Go ahead ladies, hurt my feelings.

Disagree. Life begins at birth or maybe before (depending on your views) but it is what you make of it every step of the way.
