Just made reservations for my 21st birthday (August '08) at Palms. My birthday is on a Sunday and I'm staying through Thursday. Will we still have as much fun during the week compared to the weekends?

Vegas is a 24/7 city.. it' seems to never close!!!!
You're going to have a blast! If you get a chance go to studio 54 @ the MGM Grand, that's way fun. Also The casino at the Palms is very cool, but jump on over to the RIO or the Hard Rock, that place is always packed with people around your age. Also there are some great buffets you'll get to enjoy. If your a gambler, tip the gal that's bring your drinks, and she's be by more often then not, when it's so busy (as your drinks are free).

Wow. Fa sho u can get it on during the week. I acutally like the week day parties better dont be jammed pack. Be perfect. Sunday- Pure, Monday- Jet Tuesday Moon or Studio 54 Wed- Lax. Thats how I do now might change by the time u get out here. Also you'll be here doing summer season so it'll ge good cause thats the busiest time. Hope that helps.

August is busy but not as busy as other months as it is so darn hott ...but weekends or weekdays in vegas dont really matter ...try some tourist sites and it will give you some good ideas on things to do ..plan ahead if you want to go to shows and such make your reservations early here are some good sites i use that are very helpful for ideas

Absolutely. This city doesn't care if it's Monday or Friday - it's hoppin'! (You're also going to save a lot in hotel fees - rooms often triple in price on weekends.) Some of the shows might be dark (closed) on Monday or Tuesday, but there's going to be plenty of other stuff to do.

As far as sight seeing and enjoying the attractions are concerned, weekdays are better than the weekends because it is less crowded. Here is a list of Vegas free attractions

Sure ... won't have to deal with the California crowd that drives in every weekend. You can get in most everywhere and do what ever you want to do with out the huge crowds.
