if you have only been smoking for a month you won't change anything. you only gain weight cause you will eat more. that is something that can be controlled.

in your case stop now because smoking is very hard to stop when your hooked.

Quitting smoking does not make you gain weight. The only way you'd gain weight is if you replace your smoking addiction with food.

You won't necessarily gain weight cause people who quit smoking tend to eat more as an alternative to smoking so um trying chewing gum that might help you.
