Yeah, I respect her opinion. I think she should have chosen someone who actually was a change besides skin color. Obama is not that much of a change. He is a little more conservative on the health care front unlike the other Dem's, but he in general, is still the same. I can respect her for not wanting a dynasty in America. But none of the Dem's stand for a significant change, well maybe Kucinich but other than he, nope.

Do I respect Oprah? For what? Everyone should support who they believe in. My question is why now? She has never openly backed anyone. She has stayed away from publically backing anyone. Obama doesn't have fresh ideas, he is a male Hillary, with no experience. Oprah would make a better President, she at least has successful business experience. So why now? Why Obama? Makes a lot of people suspect it's because of his color. I would NEVER pick, or not pick someone to support, based on their color, or gender. By the way, Lillian, I agree with most I have heard from you!

No....How can you respect someone who did not think enough of the Country that she is a Citizen of & made her billions in to finance & build a school here in the Us instead of going to another Continent, namely Africa, to erect a school ?----Sadly.....many of Oprah's " flock " will blindly vote for wahtever candidate she tells them to much the same way they read whatever book she tells them to. There is nothing fresh or new about Oprah.....she just winds to turn people into mindless zombies that do whatever she wants.

I like Oprah but she does not influence my decision on who I am going to vote for. She is out to get the under educated white female voter. Most of my Black friends dont really like her.

From what I can gather from all this, Oprah would endorse ANYONE for President as long as they were black and just left of liberal. She'd most likely consider a black Republican an "Uncle Tom," and anyone white would not be qualified for the job.

if she wasn't supporting obama! he is not a good canidate! when he would not even place his hand over his heart during the pledge of alligence nor during the NATIONAL ANTHEM! what kind of leader is that? this country was made what it is today because of men and women that have given their lives in combat! and it is the greastest nation in the world! why not sing the Anthem and not say the pledge? it is an honor to be able to do these things! i want a leader to stand up and say the pledge and sing at the top of his lungs the NATIONAL ANTHEM! those two things have been around a lot longer then any canidate running! so obama learn the words to both!!!! we want a leader to show the world we are united again! and standing strong together!!!!

I respect her for coming to her senses and dropping Hillary, yes.
Other than that, I think she should limit her participation to her TV program.

There are no legitimate reasons why he should be President, no matter how many celebrity condescending posers he finds to speak for him. Obama is soooo over.
