That may be because Burton uses their "3D" bolt pattern that uses 3 screws in a triangle pattern and all other manufacturers use a square 4 bolt pattern - you may need to get a different center disk for your Burton bindings.

Good Luck

Added information: Most center disks support both the standard square 4 bolt and Burton "3D" pattern, just look for the right shape to find the correct holes. If your Burton bindings are new, they should work with a new Burton board with the 3 bolt "3D" pattern. If your binding are used, maybe someone already replaced the center disk with the standard 4 bolt center disk. Also, very old Burton boards used the square 4 bolt pattern before they adopted the "3D" pattern. Which do you have?

Tahoe Mtn is absolutely right. Burton makes a "special" disc for their boards. All you need is a Burton disc.
