surely Michael Vick won't return to the Falcons to no remember if he ahs to pay them decrease back is a serperate concern. Will Mike Vick play interior the NFL. genuinely! anybody is entitled to make errors and clearly this exchange right into a great one yet we are a society of 2d possibilities, and if Vick shows some remorseful approximately and admitts what he has completed exchange into incorrect, then there will be communities knocking on his cellular until now he even gets out. together as Vick wasn't considered a great QB interior the league he did have flashes of greatness, and if something exchange into exciting to observe. With injuries and the turn around for QB's interior the league Vick will certainly discover a place with some loser team. He does have the skill to sell tickets and make performs and communities will look previous his afflicted historic past and attempt to construct a winner.

I think 2 years is too much. 1 year max I feel would have been fair. But like others said, he lied. Vick could have gotten possible 8 months if he would have just told the truth and talked with his lawyers on what to say. Vick could have been coming back to the league by next season (mid) if he would have just told the truth.

But 2 years to me is crazy.

I think it was a fair sentence, but I don't think the state of Virginia should be pursuing separate charges. As I write this, Arthur Blank is explaining how it will be "difficult" for Mike to play again. When an owner says "difficult" I would interpret it as very unlikely.

Of course, he could go to Oakland. We like ex-cons.

well I dont think its fair just because he plee bargained for
a sentence of 12-18 months, I was shocked when i heard that he got 23 months, he is already feeling stupid for what he did
theres no excuse for what he did, he is also losing almost
100 million dollars in the next 3 years. I doubt that if Tom Brady, or Tony Romo would have done the same thing that they would have gotten 23 months.

I think he was let off lightly, he should have had the full 5 years, and a much larger fine.

No he should not be allowed back in the NFL, he's not a good example for children.

Yes it was. Vick lied to authorities about several things and 17 days after promising the judge he would stay drug free, he tested positive for marijuana and lied about smoking it . I would think that Vick would not play in the NFL again after he gets out.

More than the fact that he lied, he was out smoking pot with his friends when he was out on bail. The judge was not amused by his repeated offenses and breaking additional laws. Despite saying he will change his ways, he continues to act like a complete moron. I'm sooo glad that his career is over. Maybe if he dedicates his life to helping animals when he gets out, god will forgive him.

It was definently fair because he lied to the officials afterward claiming that he merely gave the dog to get killed, not participate in the killings themselves. Plus, he showed outright disrespect for the court by chewing gum and wearing his Nike Shoes instead of getting dressed appropiatly. His "apologies" sounded fake and not heartfelt at all. All in all, he definently deserves the sentence he got.

Afterall, let's not forget that he did murder animals and engage in the cruel sport of dog fighting.

i don't like the whole dog fighting issue, it's cruel.

however, he will probably end up playing nfl again. even if what he did disgusts people, he'll work hard to get a better image of himself.

as far as a "fair" trial, well, an eye for an eye.
