Ok so my friend laurie gets her period around the end of the month and she always throws up NON STOP around 2 days before and throws up everyday till her cycle is over....(cant hold any type of food or water down for about 3 days then they take her to the ER and stuff but once her period is over shes fine and dandy).....she checked with her doctor and said she is fine but she is really worried and so am i because it really sucks for her.....like she gets seriously ill....any advice or explanations? shes 13 and has had her period for about a year...other syptoms are fever running nose head ache stomach ache please help!...(btw her doctor didnt perscribe anything for her whats going on?)..is it just over active hormones or something? Please no stupid answers this is serious. your answers are apperciated=]Thanks

normal or not, her doctor should be a bit more concerned than that. No one should have to go thru that. She needs to talk to her doctor or find a new one that will listen. There are things than can give her probably to help.

I remember when I first started mine in the beginning I would get really sick and also throw up alot. The doctor seems a bit too unconserned. She should try another doctor, but in my guess she should be fine..

This is Extreme PMS!!!!!!! Tell her to ask her parents for some over the counter PMS. IF that doesn't help, parents should take her to a GYN doctor.

She honestly should be fine. I get pretty bad off during that time also. Just to be safe, make sure she eats regularly and drinks plenty of fluid. Don't let her eat too many spicy foods during that time, and it should balance out.
