Yes I do have a fireplace and no I haven't used it for a long time because it needs to be cleaned.

Yes, a wood burning fireplace. It is currently burning upstairs (I'm in my basement).
We don't turn our gas heater on. The fireplace alone takes our living room from 46 to 66 in less than 2 hours.

Yes and Yes...Since most of the family is in the living room and the kitchen the fireplace only heats that area....helps us from wasting money and energy on heating the rest of this house, which is pretty big.

Yes... Four of them but, I cannot stand the smoke smell so I had mine in my bedroom converted to a gas one... It is just awesome as it is now...
I wonder how many people feel like me about that smell... If I want that smell I would go camping... but I don't because I do hate camping...
