YES ... but that is because I am the SURVIVOR of a short disaster of a marriage to an abusive, violent sociopath. I just started dating after approximately 2 decades .. know my new Special Someone is Kind, Gentle, Cares for me and Loves me ... but ... I am SO SCARED ...

(I do need to bury the rest of the nightmares of the past ... and this NEW special someone has been very patient and willing to wait for me and slow down in our relationship/involvement as well ... which I find so endearing).

Yes - I was scared they might go "Oh.. sory i don't like you like that uhm.." and then things would be mega awkward between us after that. I've still never told him my proper feelings even after a year and a half.

ofcourse. but i've found that you should JUST GO FOR IT. tell them i feels great to be open abotu things and there is a good chance that person is int eh same situation. trust me it makes things so much less complicated and easier.

just my personal experience.
