Jamie Lee Jones, a 22 year-old woman, claims that she was gang-raped by several KBR employees. She said she was locked in a cargo container and told that is she sought help she would be fired. A sympathetic employee (I guess all those KBR guys are not a**holes) loaned her a cell phone and she called her father in Texas. He called his congressman, who called the State department, who contacted people in Iraq, who went her location and rescued her.
It has been two years and no charges have been filed. The women claims a rape kit was done by Army doctors which confirmed multiple attackers (sex partners). The kit has been lost according to Jamie.
Here it comes...
This alleged crime needs to be investigated immediately and the perpetrators imprisoned or punished by Iraqi laws. (choose the prison) Until there is evidence I am not blaming the Army for a coverup.
I am not accusing George Bush of rape or a coverup.
What I want is an open investigation (her identity is out) and result

Note that I don't foam at the mouth and make outrageous claims that reflect mental or emotional problems. It is concise and realistic.
My suggestion if the case can be proven, but not to the degree of a criminal conviction (no rape kit), pull the security clearances of those involved, suspend those managers, and fine KBR heavily until they make good on a disciplinary action against the managers who apparently tried to cover this up. I would also make sure that those characters never, ever work for the government again or with a company on a government contract.
I am a conservative and a veteran of Iraq.

The first war, not this continuation. I support this war, I support his president, and I support the troops.

Okay, some people weren't paying attention to what I wrote;
Sangria your lips are foaming a little bit. Your impeachment blurbs don't win you any points for logic or common sense. Do you always want to be part of the fringe element?
Joshot; the same as Sangria and have you ever heard of the word sarcasm?
Lillian; I'll take your apology anytime. I left a link and I'm not a Bush hater.
The point of this is to show that you can have concerns about this country or actions taken by this country without sounding like a lunatic. You can raise questions without throwing out scurilous and ridiculous charges.
There are some witnesses if the story is true; the employee who loaned her the phone could testify about false imprisonment if not the rape. The people who rescued her could testify about the same thing. With a large fine hanging over their heads KBR could launch their own investigation with a big stick of their own, unemployment.

Yes, the scenario you are presenting certainly would need to be dealt with. I have not heard of this in the media. Do you have a link for more info.
Well it is all over the news now and thank you for the headsup. This is totally despicable and I hope Poe stays on it. They need to find the rape kit if it was not destroyed but she has physical wounds inside her from this heinous crime and the American government and Halliburton needs to be brought to there knees on this. If we can get in-tell out of top AL queda operatives, we should be able to easily get info out of these employees. By waterboarding if necessary. That is how I feel!!
I Hope this will be investigated!!
Write the President, Hallibuton Senators etc. and demand this case be looked into. That is what it takes. For the American People to get outraged.

ok. first of all, all people who disagrees with Bush on something is right now derided as a 'Bush hater'. it relatively is area of the undertaking - the 'while you're no longer with us, you're against us' approach. between the main significant issues we 'Bush haters' dislike is his unthinking dismiss of any opinion that differs from his very own. yet now to to take your specific factors: a million. "he looks like a chimp" beside the point. if it relatively is the worst all people can say appropriate to the guy, they have not been paying interest! 2. "He can no longer communicate nicely/he's a foul public speaker" same answer as a million. even with the incontrovertible fact that it may be large to have somebody in charge who became clever and knew it, relatively than anti-psychological and pleased with it. 3. "He lied approximately Iraq" so which you concept Saddam became a sturdy guy? are you able to extra completely pass over the element??? Sadam became a foul guy. the Bush coverage has been (intentionally or negligently) to continuously deceive the wide-unfold public approximately iraq. e.g: the pretend 9/11 connection, cherry-picking intelligence on WMDs, 'undertaking performed', 'stay the direction' vs 'cut back and run' ... and the record is going on. 4. "He made the international hate the U. S." remember how sympathetic the international became to the U. S., after 9/11 and until eventually now the iraq invasion? see what this is like now? it is not completely Bush's fault of direction, and a good style of the anti-americanism is only lack of understanding, yet finally the greenback does stop with him. He took charge of a united states with almost commonplace international goodwill, and flushed the entire undertaking immediately down the bathroom.

Unlike other posters, I went to the link which you provided. This NOT a criminal action, it is a law suit.
Evidence for a criminal prosecution is a lot more difficult to prove and the standards are higher.
Gang rape is a very difficult crime to prove anyway, since it is one person's word against several.
I don't hold much hope for a law suit either, it is too easy to claim the events were consensual. In short, we will probably never really know what happened and IF she was, in fact, gang raped, then that is a terrible thing.

While I can fully agree that the crime of which you wrote is heinous and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, I would also ask you if you then agree with the reason you were in Iraq? How many WMD did you see while u were there.
I can support the troop but I am very vocal and outspoken about this illegally begun and tax dollar stealing economy draining war.
What I am saying is there are far too many issues that must be resolved and as unfortunate as it is, can we impeach and imprison then prosecute the rape charges??

Why are we just hearing about this from you? Are you going to tell me that CNN or one of the other Bush bashers wouldn't fly this from every flag pole in the country? If you can post this on here, you can go to the press. Until then I will take this as a lie.
