Ok so here are the formulaes
speed = frequency times wavelength
speed is a constant = 2.998 X 10^8
our wavelength is 342nm so we divide that by 10^9 to get it in meters so we have
2.998 X 10^ 8 = frequency times 3.42 X 10^ - 7
we divide and our frequency = 8.766 times 10^14
second equation is
energy = Planks constant times frequency
so energy = 6.626 X 10^ - 34 times 8.776 X 10^ - 7
energy = 5.808 X 10^ - 5
this is in joules, to get it in kj/mole; we divide by a thousand, and multiply by 6.022 X 10^23 so our final answer will be!
349.782 KJ/Mol
