Oh, dear, can I relate to that. I had horrible nausea till my seventh month. As odd as it sounds, your stomach is most open to keep food down, right after you vomit. Eat things that are easy to digest, such as salty crackers, soda water, ginger ale, and eat very small meals, avoid fried foods, and if you are taking multi vitamins with iron, that can be hard on your stomach as well. Even if you puke, some of the nutrients will stay in, and you do have to get some food in you, to avoid your stomach acid from burning a hole through your stomach lining. Make sure also to use an enamel strengthening tooth paste with a very soft tooth brush, since the acid you bring up causes tooth erosion. The good news? The hormones that are causing this mess should dissipate soon. Be well.

If the doctor is giving you any kind of medicine I am pretty sure It will not harm you or your baby. I was so Nausea's my in tire last tri-mester and I would throw everything up it was awful. One thing that helped me was with the upset stomach is that I would take one Tums, (the high calcium ones) right before I would eat, and it would help me hold it down. Eat light stay away from real fatty foods, try to eat salads, and allot of fruit, and all all through out the day, just little bits at a time. I also tried to take my prenatal vitamins at different times. You may even need to switch the brands, sometimes the doctor can even rite you a prescription. For the nausea try this: Get a plastic bag and slice up lemons and put in the bag, then pour a lot of salt on top and carry this around with you. Every time that you start to feel nauseous stick your nose in the back and sniff.. It sound silly but it really did help!!! Good luck, and congrats!

you should eat something light and mild. it may make you sick but atthe same time it will ward off the hunger pains. eat slowly and don't rush. the faster you eat the more likely it is that you could get sick. look up on google about different pregnancy foods. something should help you. another good thing to eat is something with a lot of protein. it will help you stay less hungry for longer.

If you feel hungry, you should definitly eat. Try the basics, crackers & water. And if you keep that down, go ahead and try something else.
I threw up everything I ate, crackers, water, fruit...everything!!!
But I'd get sick, and go right back to eating whatever I was eating before I got sick, and I'd usually throw up one more time before I didnt get sick again. I was so hungry, I didnt care. After a while, I just got used to eating for a minute or 2, throwing up, eating it again, throwing up again, and being able to finish it, and not throwing up for a few hours.
Bottom line, just do what your body & tummy tell you & feel best.
Good luck

It should be ok to eat light. Try chicken or beef broth with rice. You can make it soupy (less rice) or thick (more rice). Don't worry if you throw it up, just be sure to keep food on your stomach on a regular basis and keep hydrated ( drinking fluids) unless it is projectile vomiting which may mean there is something else wrong.
YOU MUST STAY HYDRATED AND FED FOR YOUR SAKE AND THE BABIES SAKE.!!!!!
DO NOT DRINK any thing cold, especially if you are running a fever. Do not drink milk with a fever either. Milk and solid drinks like Dr Pepper are harder to keep down. Drink clear liquid sodas, but they should be room temp and don't guzzle them, sip them slowly. Have drinks and they are already cold? no prob. just get a swallows worth in your mouth and hold it till it feels like the temp of your mouth; then take small swallows of what is in your mouth. This should stay down much better. You may need a otc nausea reducer as well. Check with your pharmacy, doctor or nurse.
Cold drinks when they hit a fevered stomach is equal to the forming of a thunderstorm inside your stomach but it is man made so to speak. You can drink beef or chicken broth as well, it is a fluid. But you must stay hydrated and fed at all costs.
Water may make you throw up, so sip little bits of water. You must keep eating and drinking your sodas. Even tho you may throw up, your body can and will extract the nuterients it needs while it is on your stomach. Lite foods should stay down, if not contact you Pharmacy and ask for suggestions, if you can't reach your doctor or don't have a neighbor who is a nurse.
Be sure to check with a doctor, a nurse, or the pharmacy for advice over what I have written, tho, I know you will find they agree with my advice.
As I answer your question, I am praying for you to get well, and will put you on the pray requests I send in tonight to my Church as well. Take care, and I pray the baby(s) will be born happy and healthy. And their mom will be up and at em and perky as ever. :-)

light, salted crackers will eliminate the nausea. Wait a while, then eat something healthy. For instance, soup with a nice salad and crackers on the side.
Baked chicken or fish with steamed veggies and lightly seasoned mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. A tall glass of ice tea with a slice of lemon with ice.
Sherbert with chunks of fresh, mixed fruit is delicious!
Oh!, by the way, anything that is slighty salted, will take away your feeling of nausea..
Ask your doctor, mid-wife- or gyn, to give you a list of what to eat to eliminate your nausea..most mommies eat saltine crackers..they do the trick!
Have a healthy, and happy baby!

Definitely eat something if you're hungry. Just something light and that won't be too nasty to throw up, like a piece of bread or something until you don't feel nauseous anymore.

Try some dry crackers with 7-up. (Sprite was always too sweet for me and made me sicker.) Just eat a little bit, wait a while, and eat a little more. You may not feel much better until you have some food in your stomach. Try not to let yourself get too empty. Keep a small package of peanut butter crackers or something in your purse or pocket just to keep you from getting completely empty.
Also, the smell of lemons might help fight off nausea. I always heard it worked, and it did for me sometimes.
