Why can't people just leave the holidays alone? Instead they find like details to complain about, like religious christmas stamps. This is a time of family and friends, a time for celebrating and sharing, and a time for remembering what's really important, regardless of your religion.
Stop trying to take the fun out of the holidays by creating frown lines over holiday stamps and just enjoy the season.

The U.S. Postal Services always have an assortment of Christmas Stamps available for all people to enjoy. Christmas, after all, is a Christian celebration so it is more than appropriate to issue a stamp which is in keeping with the REAL meaning of Christmas.
The separation of church and state does not go as far as you think it does, nor should it. Our government, our laws, the Pledge of Allegiance and even our currency shows that God is very much a part of the sum.

First of all, the USPS is not a government agency, so separation of church and state is not even an issue here.
The USPS ALSO has Kwanzaa and Muslim themed stamps. Are the Christians having fits about that? I don't think so
Finally, there would be no "HOLIDAY SEASON" if not for the religious holiday! CHRISTmas. Don't you think it's about time the 90% of us stop letting the 10% push us around?

The U.S post office always has an assortment of different style stamps every holiday.
Its more about celebrating our diversity as a society, rather than promoting religious ideals.
To be honest, I did not know they had any.
Thanks for the info, Sara.
I will buy some when I get the chance.
God Bless

Wow Sara. Do you think if you hold a Christmas stamp in your hand it will melt your skin? Give me a break. It's a STAMP. Get over it. By the way.....what would be more fitting for mailing a Christmas card than a Christmas stamp?

They have non-religious ones too. You have a choice. They aren't forcing you to buy religious ones.
I was in charge of buying stamps for the law office I worked at and as a matter of professionalism I always bought the ones that had snowmen on them or something.

I think the post office just wants to make some money, and since people send lots of Christmas cards they have Christmas-specific stamps.
When I was getting married I bought wedding-theme stamps with little violet doves, for instance.
I think it's really no big deal, it's just to accomodate what postal customers would want.

Sara!! Get real !! What does a stamp have to do with church? Why don't you complain about the motto on our paper money? Doesn't it say" In God we Trust " ? Isn't God worshipped in many forms by different cultures? You want to ban that also?
