ok, this is going to sound wierd and some of you wont even understand what im trying to say, so here goes.

what makes you the better person? the women (man) that has her house clean, her kids nice and pretty, and dinner ready by 6pm OR the woman that makes the housewives hubby tell her lover to call his (her) spouse tell her (him) that he(she) is going to be late because of work.

honestly can people (lovers) think that they will eventually become someone important in that married persons life?

I personally, would rather be the house wife that has her kids all nice and tidy, than the one help tear a family apart.

I guessI would feel less of a guilty consience less

Volunteering and self sacrifice. That's what makes you a better person.

Majority of the time I think women who try to get a man to call his wife to say he is working late are selfish and insecure. Often they are frightened also. Frightened that if they tried to be "the good wife" role model that they couldn't keep a man and mostly because they consider that there are other women out there who are doing exactly what they are doing themselves... trying to stop a man from getting home to his family.

Unfortunately, some men may actually consider the lover the better person but ultimately these women will only hold a man's interest for so long before they move on.

The woman who has has her house and children well looked after and her husband's dinner on the table is the better person because she can look at herself in the mirror of a morning with pride knowing that she does what her husband wants and needs and not just what he wants. Would that woman keeping him from his family be concerned with getting dinner on the table or caring for his kids? Or would she be too busy getting made up for the next guy?

The good wife is def. the better person!

Its sort of a 'double edged sword' of a question! Some women don't know they're 'home-wreckers' until its too late to break off with their so called lover, some men can keep up that charade for years!
I know women who are not home-wreckers are the much better people/persons but some women might say that being 'just' a good little housewife is very boring!

At least YOU have a conscience! Good on Ya!

any homewrecker that thinks that she's EVER going to be that important to the married man....is deluding herself. All a mistress is--is a convenient piece of a*s to be pulled down from the shelf.

The better person is the one who has a heart
and a conscience that tells them right from wrong.

I agree with you. Better to be the good wife than the homewrecker.

I feel if you put your family before yourself, and your a self-less person, would make you a better person.
