Rivals.com has the NFL Draft ...well from their eyes...and look who goes number 2...

Do you agree with this draft...or is it still a bit early to be doing a mock draft when the season isn't over yet?

10+ to best.

if the teams stay in those positions, I agree.

Miami needs to take the best player in the draft - they have so many needs. He can anchor the D for years to come.

If NE holds onto pick #2 (they could trade it, or of course SF could win a game or 2 and drop) - If Dorsey is gone, I think they'd take Mcfadden - they seem to have lost confidence in Maroney.

After that is a lot of specualtion. I agree with OAK going O-Line, and ATL taking Brohm no matter where they pick.

edit - speeddemon - the one thing we know is Miami definitely has #1; why would they HAVE to go with Mcfadden? Dorsey is the best defensive player in the draft (in a long time too) and was considered by many to have Heisman potential. Dolphins have a million holes to fill, but if Ronnie Brown comes back, RB is not one of them (he was leading the NFL in rushing when he went down).

I have a feeling Miami is going to parlay the #1 pick and McFadden will be chose first. The Dolphins have many needs.

I see debatable logic in some of the picks later in that mock draft. But it's good fodder. Thanks for the link.

Also the 49er pick as it stands is actually pick#3. And I don't see Atlanta winning another game this year so that Niner-to-NE pick is #3 at best. (You can check the Falcons' schedule and see if you disagree with me).

Let me say I'm a Notre Dame fan first, so these picks have nothing to do with personal bias.

Top 10 pro prospects according to me.

1. Jake Long- OT (Michigan)
2. Glen Dorsey- DT (LSU)
3. Brian Brohm- QB (Louisville)
4. Darren McFadden- RB (Arkansas)
5. Andre Woodsen- QB (Kentucky)
6. Chris Long- DE (Virginia)
7. Sedrick Ellis- DT (USC)
8. Calais Campbell- DE (Miami)
9. Alex Boone- OT (Ohio St)
10. Frank Okam- DT (Texas)

I am thinking McFadden might go number one. Dorsey is a playmaker at DT but with the problems with Ronnie Brown, it might be nice to add another running back just in case he gets hurt again because of durability issues.

That is ridiculous that the Patriots get the second pick. they should have to forfeit the 2nd pick rather than pick 32...

I like the Atlanta/Louisville connection yet once again. I mean, at sometime a QB from Louisville has to make it in the NFL, right???

LOL
