If you hit it just the wrong way, you can damage the transmission pan, causing a leak of fluid (rapidly), and the vehicle will not go much further!
Usually this will not happen, but I have seen where it has! I had to tow my wife's van in and replace the transmission pan for that very reason!

Absolutely positively NO! Unless the bump was so hard it screwed up everything else on your car, like a wreck!

Well it all depends on if the tranny or any part of the drivetrain actually made contact with the ground. If it was strictly all suspension, then no it should not cause any tranny problems.

your tranmission is protected by frmework under car! it is usaully an inch above the bottom of car more likely your gas tank has damage! instead from speed bumps...

it can mess up ur shocks but i dont think the transmission will fail u if ur going fast maybe but the shocks may mess up drive safely and u dont got to worry about

it depends how fast ur going if your going realy fast then it can but then if ur going slow then it wont cause transmission probelems

you could bust the tranny mount. if you hit the tranny on the bump then yeah. but the mount should absorb most, and usally goes first
