Well my ex boyfriend has really pissed me off in the past and I am still a little pissed off and I think he knows that but today he showed me the Christmas present he was giving me. It was gorgeous, I mean it was a beautiful silver and diamond necklace but I don't know if he has changed. Should I take the chance?

If you're still together on Christmas, then sure. But your relationship needs repair BEFORE Christmas day. If he thinks material things can make it all better, he's probably a jerk.

You have your reason for being angry at him. If you accept the present, you either:
1. give him the message that he can get out of situations with you through bribes and you have to forgive him
2. take the present and don't forgive him but you look like a materialistic *****.

I say if things smooth out between you two without the present as a bargaining chip, then accept the gift. Otherwise, let him return it and get his money back.

No, accepting it will make him think he can buy you for a necklace. Tell him you will accept it after you are done the work to get your relationship back on line!

If at the end of the day u want him then go for it! But don;t do it basiced on the gift he was going to give u. So it b/c u don;t feel your love has gone just yet.

If you can't accept the sentiment behind the gift...you shouldn't accept the gift.

It sounds to me like he is trying to buy his way back into your life.

If you have to think about it like this,
it should just be something you know off the bat.
If that helps make your decision.

He is trying to buy your forgiveness....only a matter of time before he does something else to "piss you off"....

It sounds like he is trying to buy your love and love cannot be bought. It is up you, but I wouldn't let a man buy me.

depends on if you want the "bling".
if you want to be a gold digger, then let him give you the world. if you want to be sincere and honest.....
I think you know what to do.
