Does anyone know anything about Temple University in Pennsylvania concerning its film and media arts major? For example if i want to pursue a career in film productions...how does this school rank...as far as a back up school beacuse I know its nothing like say USC or NYU

Well, here is the link to their site. Possibly you could contact someone in the media arts faculty and see what you think for yourself. Sometimes less well known schools actually do an excellent job.

I know a few people who went to the film school there. It has a great reputation. You are right that it doesn't compare to NYU or USC. However, it is one of the better film/media schools on the East Coast.
