when it says solve
like 4^x+1=8^2x+3


4 and 8 are not the same so does that mean i have to multiplay by two in order to get 8. so that means i have to multiply the exponet by 2 too. right?

I am assuming the eq is 4^(x+1) = 8^(2x+3)
then this becomes 2^2(x+1) = 2^3(2x+3)
2x + 2 = 6x + 9
4x = -7 x=-7/4
