we had names but now we're totally unsure and are now back to square one with no name. we wanted a not so common name with a good meaning. we had ezekiel, isaiah, moses, malachi, isaac as a short list...and we were going to use ezekiel, but now we dont want to use it because we started to think about the child. i know kids can make fun of anything, but we wanted a name he could be proud of, one that is kinda unique, but not a bull's eye for a life of torture. james will be the middle name and our last name is wood. please help. the names dont have to be biblical, but we would like a good meaning. thanks.

either Isaiah James Woods or Isaac James Woods would work. I'd go for Isaiah, though, because it's more rare, but not too rare and it has more meaning (Isaiah means "God is salvation", Isaac means "laughter")

I was going to say Elijah...but Elijah Wood is an actor I think. I love the name Isaiah. Isaiah James Wood is nice. He can grow with it...it's a good kid's name and a nice adult name...Isaiah wood for president...Isaiah Wood CEO...I like it!

Malachi James Wood

I really like the way that sounds. I know two or three people named Malachi, so it's not too popular, but it's not too far out there either.

By the way, congratulations!
