I would think that after YEARS it would. I mean, like 50 or so. I know my mom has perfume that she's had for about 30 years that still smells great.

Cologne is alcohol based, and just like fine wine, it doesn't go bad with age, unless it's sealed improperly. If any air gets to it at all the chemical make up of the cologne can begin to break down, the alcohol base can evaporate and it can turn into a nasty goop that is better suited as a wood stain than a fragrance.
As long as the bottle is sealed properly and out of extreme heat or cold it should be good pretty much forever. If you have any questions about it, just use a little of it. If it smells good and doesn't stain then it's still good.

Yes it does get old....and really nasty smelling. I do think it lasts for a couple of years before it starts to chemically breakdown the fragrance. I have some that did that....whew nasty...smelling...I dont spray it on me first anymore either...I spray in the air....and wait a second or two...then sniff and if it is ok....then on it goes......Only made that mistake about 3 times before I got it figured out.
edited: I have some very expensive Perfume that in several years it darkened and went rank....it isnt dependant upon the cost. The answer is YES it does change.

I've never seen an expiration date, but it seems like it wouldn't be good forever. I know I still have perfume that was given to me years and years ago but it's still good. I'd say smell it before you put it on and use your best judgment! Also, if it's thick, gooey, dried out, or anything unusual, it's probably time to trash it!

i doubt it
unless its some cheap cologne or something
other than that ... it could dry out or such but not expire
(of course you should still use your judgment if it starts smelling bad ... )
