My daughter is 6 1/2 months. A good little sleeper till she was 4 months old and then she started waking every 2-3 hrs. When she was 5 months and 2 teeth came in she woke sometimes every hours. I am just wondering when your baby slept through the night? If it was early on I really dont wanna know right now :) thanks.

Rice cereal does not help little ones sleep longer. My daughter began STTN (from around 11 p.m. to six-7 a.m.) at 7 months. She had already been ingesting solids for greater or less 6-8 weeks by potential of then. undergo in recommendations that 'dozing in the process the evening' for a youthful infant is approximately 5-6 hours -- no longer 10-12 hours. So if infant is dozing around 5 hours maximum nights,he's "dozing the evening." If he's waking greater desirable than that ... wait and notice. All little ones are distinctive, and that is elementary for little ones to need a evening feeding until 6-9 months or greater.

my son started teething at 10 weeks, by 4 1/2 months he had 2 bottom. He's now 8 1/2 months old, and has 7 teeth.. I don't believe in the cry-it-out method, or any sleep training tricks, so i just got up when he got up, and tried to soothe him without a bottle, 2 weeks later he'd sleep for 10-12 hrs straight, then he got a bad ear infection, and now finally feeling better but waking up again at night.. = [

Babies change so much within the 1st year, it's crazy.. i've just learned to go with the flow which eliminated alot of stress..

Baby #1 at about 6 months
Baby #2 at about 5 months
Baby #3 at about 12 months
Twins (baby A) he is 18 months and still gets up at least 3 nights a week
(baby b) she is 18 months and still gets up at least 2 times a week.
they all seem to have thier own idea as to when it's time to sleep through the night!

My son slept great till he was about 6-7 mos old... then all of a sudden.. he was gettin up like yours.. every 3 hours or so..
With in the last 3 weeks, his bottom teeth have been comin' in. Finally, the last few weeks, he's been sleeping 10 hours straight!!!! He is now 9 mos old.

So, I'd say mine was 8 mos. he he.. until the next set of teeth come in!

My son was an amazing sleeper till about 4 months...then he started waking up. I started giving him a tablespoon of rice cereal before bed, and he went right back to sleeping through the night.

She slept through the night at 3 months. But then she started waking again (teething and hitting milestones such as sitting and crawling). We did sleep training at 6 months. Now at 12 months she mostly sleeps through the night.

My daughter slept until 6am when she was 10wks.
My son was a battle to make sleep through the night at 11mths.
I'm on my third now, and she is just 6wks so we aren't there yet!

Every child is different. If she wants to eat, feed her quickly (in the dark with very little stimuli, so that she knows to go back to sleep.) If she isn't wanting to eat, you may have to leave her to cry it out until she realizes that you can't get up to play in the middle of the night. "Crying it out" may leave a few sleepless nights for you, but it is really beneficial in the long run! Just go into her room to tell her it's time for night-night and leave. Don't touch her and return no more than every 15mins to again tell her it's time for bed. It's sad, but you have to be strong if you ever want to sleep!

My daughter slept through the night when she was just over 2 and done with teething. She woke up to nurse every hour, every single time a tooth was coming in. Hang in there! ;-)

My son started sleeping thru the night at about 4 months off and on...at 5 months, he started teething and since then he rarely sleeps thru the night. He is now 22 months and he is doing better, only gets up about twice in a 12 hour period...
The teething was the first trigger that screwed up my sons sleeping pattern, then rolling over, then more teeth, then crawling, more teeth, pulling up, more teeth, ear infections, more teeth, tubes put in his ears, and walking....
Everytime a child reaches a milestone, it screws up their sleeping pattern. thankfully, my son is cutting the last of his teething until about kindergarten time.

But now i have to worry about my daughter (10 days old) she doesnt sleep at all at night right now!! :(
