I think they should be banned altogether ! What good does it do to young teens to watch them? What good can they learn from it ??

I think the first one was opening Pandora's box but I am not sure we can close it again now. I think often those shows are our age's equivelent to throwing the Christians to the lions, amusement for people who lack real substance in their own lives.or are too easily amused. we might say that these shows demonstrate how far people will go to make money and we may find one person on a reality show that we identify with but what does that say for our sense of values. I have always thought it moronic that people will condemn Bill Gates for making the wealth he did with Microsoft but say nothing of an actor being paid twenty million dollars for one picture or in the case of a reality show spending millions to people willing to do things they would never do in real life even though they call that a reality show. At least they are a little better than Jerry Springer!!

Reality shows are lame and boring. They're not even real, so I have no idea where the name comes from.

I don't care for them much. I wish there was more intelligent programming on TV.
