The environment.
Not just global warming, which is a complex issue most voters know zilch about, but the rest of the environmental catastrophe as well.
The world population is growing fast and is up to well over 6,500,000,000. Almost every large mammal on the planet is endangered or already extinct. And telling people to use florescent bulbs and recycle cans isnt going to do it. Slavery couldnt be eliminated by recycling cotton; LAWS were needed to make the change. Similarly, laws need to be created and enforced to regulate the effects of corporations on the environment. But no politician wants to do it because corporations control the govenment though their financial donations. And public policy needs to address the growing population of America, and the rest of the world.

Well, how about Social Security and fixing it for good ? Then there's the forementioned waste of Government tax dollars..earmarks and pork..which I agree with.
We've yet to Beat into peoples head this Clintonese / Democratic party mentality of shifting to the direction of the poles. We could afford to do that when most people in America were tride and true Americans. Perhaps with different views on matters, yes, but still...Americans...and therefore willing to do what was right for our country. But with the immigration of muslims, invasion of illegals from southern countries, etc etc..poll's are going to become nothing more than mob rule. The majority of people before in a simpler time would vote in the interest of what they thought would make their coutnry great and strong. now we have alot of factions of people out there with no moral compass. They are so thin skinned they can't stand the sight of a cross on a hill..put there long ago to honor military veterans. I recall not too long ago some bozo attacking the Raincross symbol of Riverside, Ca. thinking it to be a cross. As if that really hurt anyone, but its orgins started from navite americans. People have become too politically correct, thin skinned, selfish and in some cases...too Opinionated...which having an opinion isnt a bad thing...but I find many that don't seem to base it on anything. They've lost their common sense, objectivity and any ability to be patient and use critical thinking.

Well yes there is alot of lip service to most issues. Plus these same old issues themselves haven't even been really resolved. so the game goes on. If anybody could be a bit honest about anything would really be refreshing.

It's going on right before our eyes out in the open "for our own good"... the steps bringing us towards the North American Union. Few even notice.

There are tons, besides the ones you've mentioned. It shouldn't be all or nothing. I wish one candidate would just say it. "I am for abortion, I am against exporting jobs, I am for taxation of the rich, I am against war, etc." No one ever just says it!

Truthfully the only thing that any presidential hopeful should be worried about is our children's education, our social security benefits and regaining our borders.
