How to get a parole hold lifted with a pending charge,also how long does an inmate have to be billed.The victim is willing to sign affidavit stating that the inmate didn't shot him in the leg.They have another person incarcerated already for principal to attempted 2nd degree murder & aggravated battery.District attorney say it will take at least 4wks to recieve paperwork in order to have''victim drop charges along with 75.00 money order.Were pushed for time cause the holidays.So if no good news,whats the worst that could happen?

I know what i need to do,but from time to time you run across people who have been in the same situation or are somewhat knows the law.maybe from watching a episode on court tv that i may have missed.

If there is a parole hold, ONLY they parole division can lift it. That WON'T happen without a hearing on if the person violated parole. Based on your question, the parole WAS violated by being around an armed felon. If this is in the US, the victim CAN'T drop charges, only the DA can. My non-professional opinion, based solely on the information in your question, is that your BEST case scenario has the 'inmate' released in mid-January. The WORST case scenario is they serve the remained of their parole AND face murder charges.

ANYONE CAN legally fight back in self defense. You have to justify why he did that for. Was it reasonable? Was it over the top? Could of he avoided it? Did he want the fight to? Was he going to be raped? You get the idea...doesn't matter where you are.
