Are you opposed to convicted molesters being gathered into concentration camps and burned in ovens?

its very, very sad. and a very sobering thought that its not only strangers doing it to kids, its teachers, coaches, pastors, family members, and friends. It makes me nervous to have children b/c i dont want to think about how much higher that percentage will be by the time i have kids.
And you can really only protect them so much.
I think its an amazing idea. First we should cut off there dink's though.

Well, yes, I am opposed to that, even though I was one of those children. I saw another question saying that a study showed that 20% of men had some sexual attraction to young children. I was surprised so few people didn't believe it's that many. I was molested by two different men, so if you take into account that many of the victims had more than one abuser, I'd say it's probably a lot more than 20%.

I don't buy the statistics, lots of people make money in the Security and Law enforcement industry, they also come up with sham statistics like this to get people to vote for politicians that increase their funding.
Basically I'm telling you, I want to see the study and I want to read their methodology for coming up with this statistic. I am from a crime ridden area and I would say it is more likely 5% of the people I know were molested before the age of 18.

Your statistics are WRONG according to the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network. 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men. The statistics include consentual sex between an offender who is 17 and a victim who is 15 and not legally able to consent (laws vary by state).
I know a man who has to register as a sex offender because he took off his clothes as a dare during a game of truth or dare when he was 13. It was the mother of the 13 year old girl who dared him that called the police.
I may be in the minority here, but I used to monitor sex offenders on house arrest for a living. The thing about a sex offense is that the victim is only as victimized as they feel or as the people around them treat them, and I think the status quo has gotten out of hand with it's opinion about sex offenders.

Those statistics are hideous. I really think there should a 1 strike and your out rule, for child molesters. Mandatory life sentence. I'd say kill them all, but if there's been a mistake, you can't take it back. Otherwise, I'd say skin em alive!

Well, anyone who thinks the way you do is seriously sick in the head. Luckily for you, you can't even imagine what goes on in a concentration camp or what it feels like to be in one but to wish that upon anyone is wrong in every way. I'm not trying to stick up for paedophiles or anything, I know that it can ruin lives, I know people who have been molested/raped when they were younger - some of them only children - and they are so incredibly damaged that it breaks my heart, but paedos are sick in the head, too, and you can't solve mental illness by rounding up the sufferers and killing them. What happened to "hate the crime, love the criminal". I'm against capital punishment in every case.

I totally agree with this and my idiot step grandfather should be the first to burn. Seriously. He molested kids, though he is dead, I think he should still pay for his crimes against innocent children who's souls were damaged for the rest of their lives. Burn ALL child molesters. =O

i loathe sexual predators with all my heart!
and the worse part is that they are more likely to do it again when they get out of prison which defeats the purpose of prison....
they should not be allowed a second chance, i apologize if this offends anyone but they do not deserve to live freely.
i just cannot imagine how an adult can abuse an innocent child....

Yes, it is sickening. I think that pedophiles ought to have their 'stuff' removed so that they can no longer commit such crimes...and they should be locked up in prison.
