1) Has anyone ever seen the movie Gladiator? the main character is Russel Crow he plays a man names Maximus... I hate the movie and my teacher is showing it to us 10th graders and i think that if an administrator walks in when we are watching this rated R movie my teacher might get fired. Its not that i hate the movie but it IS a BIT graphic. when do you think it will be over if the class just finished the part where Maximus killed the Emperor?

2) everybody (or a lot of people i know) have been reading the book called Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. Is it really a good book. I am going to start it soon but i wanted to know if it was really good!

gladiator was a great movie. its gory but...whatever. your teacher can't get fired for it but can be reprimanded, and legally you dont have to watch. it should take you one or two more days as far as i remember.
ive heard about it a lot too and i picked it up and didn't get past the fifth page, i hated it that much.
then again, im not a 12-17 year old girl so i wouldnt know.

#1 I don't think that it would be that big of a deal if someone knew that a bunch of 10th graders were watching the movie Gladiator. It is a lil graphic, yes i agree. but you are in the 10th grade and apparently your teacher thinks that you can handle it. if not then say something to them in private about it. it is a pretty long movie so I'm not really sure when it will be over.
and as for the second one i don't have a clue!

1. i watched R rated movies in my classes before when i was in 9th grade so it's no big deal
although the teachers make you sign a paper with ur parent's john hancock just to make sure
2. EVERYONE is saying that twilight is a great book but i haven't read it. i want to now since a lot of people LOVED it :)
