Not sure I understand your question but, here goes. If you are thinking that Bush might try to do as FDR did during the 2nd W.W. & serve a 3rd or 4th term because we are at war in two countries, then I think you have another think coming! I'm very sure he knows that he wouldn't dare try it, there are too many people down on him. We were in a world war & FDR was well liked, Bush can't say the same. He won't try it! You know, I really think he will be glad to leave office. He knows how the polls read concering his popularity with the people.

If you mean a Federal Wizard King along the lines of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, forget it. The Great Depression wasn't ended by Roosevelt. It was ended when Captain Fushida of the Imperial Japanese Naval Air Forces flew through Kolekole Pass on Oahu in the Territory of Hawaii and signaled "Tora! Tora! Tora! (Tiger! Tiger! Tiger!) back to the aircraft carrier Akagi.
What we need in the future is a President who is intimately familiar with Article Two of the Constitution and is prepared to carry out the duties described in that article.
