I am getting the Wii for Christmas, and I am going to get "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" in Febuary 10th. Does Super Smash Bros. Brawl HAVE to have a Wi-Fi connection?? If it does what do you have to get to get a Wi-Fi connection? How do you set it up??? Please answer!

No You Dont "Need" Wi-Fi Connection To Play Brawl ... But Having Wi-Fi Will Make Brawl Tons More Fun When You Get It.
Take A Look At This Mini Guide I've Used On Past Wi-Fi Questions ^_^
Ok Here Are The Steps You Need To Take In Order To Use The Internet On Your Wii ^_^
1. Go Out And Buy A "Belkin Wireless G - Router", They Cost About $30 At Wal- Mart
2. Bring It Home And Follow All The Directions Correctly And Slowly ... Really Make Sure You Do That
3. One You Have Your Router Hooked Up, Make Sure Your Computer Has Recognized The Connection
4. Get On Your Wii And Go To Wii Options And On The 2nd Screen, Click "Internet or Internet Connections" (You Know What I Mean)
5. Put In All the Info On Your Wii That You Did For Your Computer When You Were Connecting You Router To Your Computer (Example. WEP Key, Type Of Connection Etc.)
6. Once You Have All The Info Put In Correctly, Tell Your Wii To Test The Connection
7. Hopefully You Did Everything Correctly And Your Wii Can Now Get On The Internet ^_^
8. Get On The Wii Shop Channel And Download The Internet Channel

You don't HAVE to have Wi-Fi, but it'll make Brawl more fun.
You can get Wi-Fi by:
1. Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector
2. Wireless Router
3. You can buy a LAN adapter that acts as a wired point, therefore giving you Wi-Fi access.

I do know brawl is gonna have wifi. It's gonna be awesome! Maby i'll battle you on wifi. that would be fun! but I would win!lol jj. Like I said I don't have a wii yet but the manual guide says somthing about it.

guy above me wont work, they have a special usb connecter at every games top for about 35$
Buy it unless you have a wireless router which costs more
