when you breath you are inhaling mostly oxygen and a tad bit of nitrogen, when you exhale you exspell carbon dioxide. the only way you could inhale helium is to go pop a helium filled balloon or something and breath it in, which will make your voice higher, but the effect will only last for a few seconds.

My friend did once. I was on the phone with her then she says that she is going to do something weird. She inhaled helium and then her voice became all squeaky!

Only at b-day parties.
And if the parents let us. LOL It makes your voice weird! I try it whenever I can at parties, and it's fun! Whenever my friends talk in their weird helium-y voices, I crack up!

If you want your voice to sound like some kind of demon from hell, just inhale some Sulphur Hexafluoride. ;)
