Rinsing removes the DIRTY soapy water. I like line drying outside ---- it leaves a fresh sunny smell. I like the feeling of crisp clothes from line drying.

I have never lived anywhere that allowed drying clothes outside and can't imagine I would want my clean clothes hanging out in the dust and flying dirt but some people do. If it's allowed, I guess it's your choice. The rinse cycle on the washer is to rinse away the detergent after the wash cycle otherwise your clothes will be stiff and sticky with soap. Unless you are referring to fabric softener, I can't imagine why you wouldn't want the soap rinsed off your clothes. Do you have a mother who can explain the basics of doing laundry to you? You need it.

actually the clothes smell bad if the soap hasnt been rinsed out. the rinse takes out all the chemicals which leaves a NICE FRESH SMELL. seriously you have to rinse thats what keeps clothes good and make them smell better. hang them outside because the air is fresh and the clothes will last longer
i dont get why all americans have dryers i mean its not a big deal why dont u just hang them outside it takes 5 minutes to hang and bring in. they smell fresher . well except for towels do them in the dryer

Rinsing is good cuz you don't want the detergent on your skin...it tends to cause rashes. Also, stuff sticks to your clothes when the soap is still in it.
I hate drying my clothes outside cuz bugs get in it, the clothes are stiffer & I like the dryer sheet smell. The dryer gets the wrinkles out, no bugs, easier than hanging on the line & my clothes smell good and are nice and warm on those cold mornings.

Rinsing is to get the soap out , if not you can get skin irritation,
And you cannot beat the smell of cloths dried in fresh air

Clothes dried outside smell terrific. Birds can be a problem, however. If you get my drift.
Rinsing removes soap from your clothes. If you leave the soap in the clothing it is not truly clean and will build up over time making the fabric "sticky".

Drying clothes outside = bugs get on them, pollen gets on them, and the "outside smell" stays in them. To me, the outside smell just smells 'stale'. I prefer the detergent smell.. I don't like guessing if my clothes are clean by smelling them lol I want to smell the Tide so I know theyre clean :) .

Leaving the laundry detergent on your clothing will ruin them . Plus they will feel nasty.

We did no longer carry close them exterior different than interior the summertime. interior the wintry climate we would carry close them on clothing racks by potential of the woodstove to dry them. My father exchange into fairly decrease priced and we never used the dryer different than in "emergencies".
