I am going to watch the game now. If the Lightning lose I will kiss your feet for a few days, because I got to say this.......

…………Tonight the Lightning are going to win a freaking AWAY game.

So, here is the question:
Would you rather be a goalie against Mats Sundin or Martin St. Louis in a shootout (same points mind you)?

LITY: You know I have a place in my heart for the Blackhawks winning the cup. You have had your day. Naughty...I tell you. I am never talking smack again. Like I said before, cocky does not look good on Haley.

Statistically, the Leafs have owned the Lightning, especially on home ice. Odds are, they'll win tonight.

And I'd rather go up against Sundin. The Leafs in general aren't a good shootout team and I don't think Sundin is learning much about that play with his current teammates. That's like the blind leading the blind.

Haha, I'm not a huge fan of either teams, but I do enjoy watching the Leafs play. I'm betting my money (if I had any =b) on the Leafs.

And to answer your question..
Both are really good players. But if I had to be a goalie against one of them I'd choose Martin St. Louis, because I think Sundin would actually score.
I'm not saying I don't enjoy St. Louis but I think Sundin does better under alot of pressure.

But even scratch that. I don't know. Because Sundin doesnt do too well in shootouts.

Yup, Leafs can beat the Bolts in either team's building and have for years. The Panthers on the other hand give them fits.

I'll take Sundin. A big reach is an advantage. I just wish he'd start cutting in from the side to get the goalie moving sideways more. That would open more holes.

Mats Sundin is great, but sucks at the shootout. Hopefully it don't get to this. Leafs win in regulation, bank on it.

Sundin put one of the best moves I ever saw against Flyers defenseman Janni Ninimaai(Then again who didn't)but I saw it live.It was in a playoff game we were up big but he went through Janni's legs ala McCarty in the cup finals and went top shelf and I almost stood up and applauded that goal,so I would take Mats.

St.Louis because Sundin probably has the deadliest backhand in the game so right away you would be at a disadvantage as a goalie because you would have to think/play his backhand, leaving you vunerable.

I would rather be the water bottle on the bench, I believe Matts or Martin can deek the pants off any goalie........
