How low the mighty semenholes have dropped. I can't stand watching that wrinkly old prune with that grotesque redneck accent gobbling like a turkey with brent musberger.

Nunya, I'd say 5 years ago!!! I can't stand the Seminoles and its even worse when I gotta see his wrinkly, as you'd say, face. Hey, he kinda looks like a turkey with that loose skin flapping under his chin---lmao.

It's not like FSU went 2-10 people. Theyre not going to a BCS bowl but they've been consistent over the last 20 years and they've always given us a reason to watch them. I do think Bobby Bowden has reached his run but he deserves to leave when he sees fit. He earned it. And they have an in-house successor, Jimbo Fisher, so there won't be too much change and recruits won't flip out so much. Also, a younger coach might breathe some life into the program, more aggressive playcalling perhaps.

I have always been an FSU fan and agree Bobby Bowden needs to hand up his hat.

A succesor has been named and it will probably be the current offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher.

However, Bobby Bowden has a contract for LIFE, they just re-figure his money every few years.

When the mega-bucks boosters tell the AD and University President that they make a change or their money will go to the Gators. In major college programs, it is the ones who write the biggest checks who dictate policy.

He's not going to step down unless he's physically unable to do so. And quite frankly, no matter how many season FSU goes without winning, they won't fire him. He's too much of a legend to do so.

I think the Seminoles asked him to step down. He was too respected to fire him, so they let him go out with some decency.

After Paterno does. They both want the all time wins mark.
